only good thing about what's going on in arizona is that it will call out all of the nutjobs in the rest of the USA who actually applaud this dimwitted gov's actions. i wonder if she took any women studies classes and if these type classes are next because, women shouldn't be taught that they were oppressed, they shouldn't believe that it was a struggle to get the vote, or become writers, lawyers, doctors, scientists, gov officials ...

and let's face it...many ethnic groups were and still are oppressed by the white population. whether it be in your face or behind closed doors. you can not rewrite history.... but apparently, you can revamp it to make the bad guys look better or, better yet, you can deny folks the chance to find out what really happened.

when i was in college taking an intro to art course...after the professor went through the course syllabus, one african american female student raised her hand and asked, why aren't there any women and/or minority artists included?

it was a great question and one that stumped the instructor. because you can't convince a large chunk of college students that there were no female and/or minority artist that didn't exist or influence the world of art. and it is true of every major field that exists from art to science. to deny the chance for ANYONE to learn about their own culture or sex is...undeniably wrong.
