job update..two working interviews while working a part timer. tuesday night i worked at a specialty/er hospital from 7:30pm to 10pm. great set up, sheduling, and shift (no more 12 or 14 hour shifts for me). went well. will find out thurs if they'll offer me the job.
working interview this weds in 8am to 1pm. general practice (part of 3) all located in downtown manhattan. nice hospitals, good equipment, nice staff, will do appts, anesthesia for surgeries and procedures including dentals...went very well. received an offer today making the same amt from my last job... nice. no sundays (so i can run all the nyrr races i want!)
i quit the part timer today. lasted only 2 days. not the place for me.
had another interview set up for Monday but will cancel later today.

sis 1 got home from hospital tues. recovering from gall bladder surgery (they removed it). Mom's echo revealed a hole in the septum separating the atria. she's got a murmur. doc not worried about it, says it has most likely been there for a long time. will schedule an appt with doc to go over the results with Mom, i'll drive her and sit in to asks questions. sis 2 needs to move out of the house she and her ex-partner live in. they broke up and the house may foreclose. she's presently looking for a new job (since she works for ex-partner's dad. she's trying to relocate to north carolina with her 4 cats. her daughter (my niece) will live with my bro and sister-in-law w/2 young girls until she finds a job in her career (legal/courts) and last but not least, my nephew and his wife (E) are going through a very difficult time right now. E was diagnosed with MS last week. they've only been married for 2 years and they are both in their 20's. they are high school sweethearts. God help them.
my cousin's wife lost her baby after 9 months. the cord was wrapped around the babies neck. she was born deceased.
bad bad september for my family.

of course, life goes on. regardless. can only hope things get better for my family.
