i'm not surprised at which areas of this country voted republican...the bible belt and the south. the rest of us (you know, the progressive, level-headed, keep your faith to yourself when it comes to government issues, stop raping our wild and protected lands, and no-we-don't-want-to-be lied to folk...) well, we did our best. kudos to Pennsylvania for voting Democratic. kudos to all those folk who voted for the first time. shame on you for not voting the last time, we could have avoided the shit that is to be for four more years.
