rested and a little sore. yesterday, it rained all day. fine by me, i got my run in early (it was just drizzling). only a 5 miler but it was a killer because i ran it on a track...round and round and round... boring but a knee saver. the track is awesome, it belongs to a college. ran a little over 10 miles on saturday, shorter than i had planned but it was a good run with a good time, managed to shave 15 minutes off my 10-miler race time, and that was with stops at traffic lights and for turning cars, and to buy some sports drink. i practiced eating too. did well. makes one helluva difference. i think i need to eat a little more before i go for runs. also, spinning is turning out to be a great way to build up my quads and save my knees. need to work on my upper body, but i guess i'm going it alone. i've contacted 2 of the trainers and have heard nothing. ironically, the person that did respond is too damned far away to physically help me, but a great website was recommended to me. thankyou!
did some major housework yesterday, i did the: mopping, washing out the litter pans, dusting, vacuuming, throwing out garbage, but didn't do laundry!!! i also brushed out Ms. Calicohead and cleaned out her ears. watched some of the Olympic trials...popped in The Odyssey (the hallmark movie which happens to kick some butt, it's so good) then, tuned into Cold Case. i like the female lead, she's a strong character, plus, she's got 2 special needs kitties as her apt-mates...one is missing an eye, the other is missing a hindleg. they're adorable. you just want to kissy kissy them on the head.
