only a few more hours left for 2005 and i have to say that it's been the best of times, it's been the worst... i've done lots, and would like to do more.

for some of us...the New Year slips in, past the mounting bills, the sleeping cats, over the threadbare rugs and chipped furniture... hovers over our sleeping faces and limp bodies, and, i'd like to think, gently kisses our foreheads and whispers in our sleepy little ears, "joy and wonder, keep your childlike heart...eat more chocolate cake...take more naps...walk more homeless dogs, and celebrate all the Love happening in the world, because somehow, one way or another, you are part of it, and it is part of you"
