-this is why i stopped listening to one of my favorite radio stations. the Yanks are the Yanks because they are simply the best team in baseball history. end of story. no small victory by red footwear will ever change that. i've noticed quite a few NY haters in philly and to you i say:
1. NYC will always be a better city
2. has less crime than philly
3. and is just a cool place to live and/or visit (depending on where you go)
-and if this ain't so, why the heck do people put NYC down and then brag about it when THEY go to visit?
if i've learned anything living here, it's that if i had the $$, i'd go back to living in NY.
the city of philadelphia is run by clowns and likes to employ them. SEPTA (public transportation) employs too many clowns who apparently like to squeeze the juice out of the lower middle class -lower class of it's hard earned pay...by threatening to raise fares yet again AND cut services (especially on the weekend).
SEPTA, cut out all of the dead weight drivers who are consistently late, moan and bicker about having to stop at stops that are "inconvenient" for them, and who like to drive and talk on their cellphones (how freakin' dangerous is that?) i include driving while talking to the neighborhood honey who usually stands next to your seat as equally dangerous.
anyhow. back to the New York Yankees.
1. the Gods took pity on the Sox
2. a win for them was bound to happen according to the universal law of odds.
3. rest up, learn, and come back next season with some serious intent on kicking ass.
ps. philadelphians, shut the hell up. when is the last time any philly team won anything????
