so, the year continues to hurl bad curve balls at me. at this point i don't even care. this AM, heading out from work, i was in a car accident. hit a car that was behind me and in the left lane, the guy sped up, got in front of me so that he could make a right turn into a gas station. i ended up clipping the back left of his bumper. i know that he procured a witness at the gas station. he proceeded to yell at me when i moved my car out of the way of folks pulling in and out of the gas station. i guess he thought i was going to hightail it out of there.

1. he never used his signals.
2. he sped up to get in front of me when there wasn't anyone behind me and he could have waited.
3. he got out of his car to prove that he was in the right and i was wrong.
4. there was no way the witness could tell if he used his signal or not.

this is par for the course when driving in this town. people cut you off to make a right handed exit, entrance to a ramp instead of waiting for you to pass. i can't count the times i've been cut off this way. even waiting at a light to enter a ramp on the right, i've been cut off by someone who pulls up in the small space to my right. i've really had it with driving in this city.
i hate it. and to top it off, the guy jokes with the police AND the officer who took my information KEPT my registration. i didn't realize it until i pulled into the grocery store to call my insurance company.

i'm tired. finally sent the landlord a letter about the nutcase upstairs. he screams/curses at all hours of the day/night and blasts his radio EVERY night. after 3 years of this shit, with no repairs or updates the landlord promised to make to the apt i live in, i am entitled to complain about this crazy person who seems to get away with this outrageous behavior.

orangehead, continues her slow decent into heart failure. she's on so many meds, i have to give myself at least 30 - 45 minutes to pill her so that the meds are spaced.

at least Mom had a good apt with the cardiologist. her pressure is good and he says she's doing well. i'm somewhat relieved and grateful for this.

got a great letter from my oldest friend who lives in Cali. i miss him so much. it was such a treat, made my day.

car registration is due by next month, another racket to bleed the people of their money.
public transportation fares are going up again... this makes 3 times in 2 years. another racket to bleed the people of their money.

loving life right now. no....really. i'm LOVING LIFE.

okay. i should mention that a family member does body and paint work on cars (20+years experience) and does extremely excellent work. "he/she" can FIX ANY dent etc. So, that is one great big-ass plus. okay. i feel alot better.
