orangehead continues to be constipated...this will be day 3. will bring back some high fiber food for her from work. meanwhile black/white kitty has stopped sneezing. i'm hoping it is allergies as i was sneezing too today. he's up to date on his vax and blood work was normal. orangehead's bloodwork was normal also, but i'm really worried she's got something really bad growing inside of her. will most likely take her in to see the IM specialist tomorrow. my work week is tough this week, two 14 hour shifts and one 12, plus i signed up for another 12 hour day shift on saturday because i want to pad my bank account.
worried about Sal. it is devastating to lose your job, regardless of how much you may have disliked it... compounding the awfulness is her medical conditions, her kitties medical condition... i really really wish there was something i could do. my good friend from GA also lost her job at amnesty international. and she's recovering from surgery to remove a plate and screws from her wrist, she had broken some bones. i wish i wish i wish and hope that they both find where they belong and are happy.
i almost feel guilty that i'm in the process of looking for another job. it's becoming "morally wrong" to work where i work now. it's not the doctors, it's admin and their numbers. they don't care about employees or patients, they just want the money. this supremely sucks because i truly wanted to believe in this place. i've sent two resumes out so far... will take it slow and find the right fit for me this time.
