sweet & low
Fri Jul 13 2001

fumbling for stray change that always finds the perfect corner to lodge in, way back wrapped with cat fur and lint, my fingers work overtime to get that last dime i need...

ah, i knew he wouldn't let me down, there you are you sneaky metal minx...my veins are aching for some dark brown elixir, my heads swimming in deep down bass beats, my lips are waiting for oooh ahhh...

floating on footpads, i'm a cat in black slacks, long thin arms swaying to and fro, black cozy sweater is hugging bony shoulders, but inside, my body is wearing low...

and even with a bounce in my step and the showing of straight white teeth, even when the browns and chocolate bring out my mother's greens, and even with silly freckles sprinkled on me from heaven high...

i'm wishing you beside me, wishing
sighing, sigh...
