done and done...

done and done...

I gave myself three weeks off before beginning the new job. but I probably need more time to detox. who would have thought in a million years that this big city library system was so poorly run?

so, I'm bird watching, getting some exercise and learning to bake rustic Italian bread.

😊

my first round loaf was ugly as hell and a little underdone by like 10 min... but still edible and actually is okay toasted.

I took a long road trip for a conference. and on my way back, a rock hit the windshield and left a chip. so, I did a little research and bought a windshield repair kit (available at auto zone) and by golly, I learned how to patch up chips too.

I never thought that learning would become stagnant working at the library. all they care about is numbers. quantity vs quality. numbers makes the branch managers look good. it's all bullshit.

makes me sad to know this. but I'm out and I'm back with the folks who are motivated to learn.

I wish I could sue them for the tuition I paid to get my masters.

do I need to say that this country is heading to hell in a hand basket? what I can't understand for the life of me is how gas prices is where a lot of people have drawn the line... forget about the daily bombing and killing of civilians in Lebanon and Iran, or that the scumbag in the Whitehouse who is surrounded by butt licking scumbags - is a rapist, pedophile and murderer, or that he, the republicans and some democrats are pilfering our federal tax dollars on war and manipulating the markets to line their pockets, or helping Russia rake in the dough while leaking intel on US military whereabouts to Iran and quite possibly causing deaths...(make that make sense). The line is high gas prices - that and meme where the idiot made himself Jesus. WTF.

I pray every day for the clots to find their way to a lung and that shriveled up pile of heart cells. please. let it be so.
