my apologies for the offensive language in the previous entry. i wrote it how i felt it.

just because living critters may be smaller than we are doesn't mean they don't count.

a beautiful day it was. finished the book about Hank Aaron, it was wonderful, uplifting, a gracious and talented man. learned a few things about Babe Ruth and even more about his wife.
watched Hilary and Jackie again, an awesome film. popped in Starman tonight. i love that movie. currently reading Hemingway's "A Farewell to Arms". caught the last 30 minutes of Field of Dreams. i guess i've always had a soft spot for baseball movies. it's the Dad in me.

tired. it's 12:10 am. ran about 10 miles today. time to...

go to sleep.

No need for apologies. I do save a few of my expletives for the idiots who are supposed to be looking out for the kitties and kids of the world, but instead let the little ones run around unattended. Kitties and kids do escape on occasion, so I don't curse the guardians as much as the drivers, but far too many times those who cannot care for themselves are allowed to roam unsupervised, making them road fodder for idiots who should be driving with more care.
