went to school after work to pick up the very very fat binder for Practicum #2 (Large Animal). it's got all of the course work expected of me. this time, i'm going in prepared. i've also begun reading through Large Animal Internal Medicine, i checked it out from the Big City's Vet Library...

i have to laugh at the thought of me duking it out with a freakin' goat...hehehe. i'm actually going to bring the binder to work with me and copy the entire thing. i don't want to hold it up in case someone else wants it. the way the head of the dept at school sounded though, i might be the only freakin' student doing the practicum in spring. afterall, whoever did small animal in fall, will naturally go to large animal in January....but not me...i wait 2 years. ;-) ah well, better late than never. i'm ready. even if i'm feeling a little intimidated...i'm ready to get this done and get my life moving to where i want it to go.

shrinkwrap sessions are going well. i almost quit, but i'm glad i stuck it out. Mom and the rest of my family, but especially my Mom, have all been my rock. they may be a little far from me, but i feel like they're right here. i can't wait to visit for Christmas.

driving...i think my session is tomorrow night (late). i get to parallel park!
this ought to be fun. i think i'm going to wear my glasses instead of contacts because, night time is not the best time for my eyes to work.

tomorrow is the company Christmas Party. i may or may not go. the day after, i get to see the doc about my foot and dodge the annual staff photo session. still planning my getaway... ;-)

-to eating an entire bag of hershey christmas foiled kisses with almonds in one sitting
-to eating a bag of cookies in 2 nights
-putting a little too much cheese in my cheese fajitas
-surfing the net for a job at my job
-bugging Orangehead kitty when she's sleeping because she's just too cute to leave alone
-faking out Calicogirl by luring her with the promise of some great kneading (i put my fleece pullover on)and clipping her nails after she finished.
