free friday.
every year my workplace hosts the annual stress-free friday. this year's theme is The Jungle! :-) (by far the best one since i've worked here). you can:
-have your picture taken with a gorilla (man in full gorilla costume accessorized with a real banana)
-have your picture taken with a human sized parrot (same deal as gorilla)
(there are even props for you--fake snakes, fake animal skins...etc.)
-the Philly Zoo has 2 tables manned by volunteers, one for info on conservation and one with insects, i petted a tarantula!...you can even eat bbq'd mealy worms...i skipped that!)
-there is cotton candy, popcorn, water-ice (i had the mango), games and prizes, goody bags and a few raffles. i signed up for the cake raffle ~~~

there are monkey mobiles, decorative palm trees and birds, plastic fish and giraffes etc. hanging from the ceiling. awesome job guys. this year was the best.

stress-free friday...heck, i left work yesterday thinking it was friday...
it's hot and humid, but a decent day anyway.
gotta go...my mango water-ice is melting...yeow...brain-freeze!
