trying to stay up late to acclimate myself to the new schedule. i find, though, that i'm sleeping a little more than i should. it's been a little tough to get out of bed especially since it's so damned cold. i mean, it feels like fall weather out there. what the hell happened to spring???????

finished watching buffy the vampire slayer season five. i have to say that willow rocks...in the episode "tough love" she goes all dark evil willow and delivers a brilliant line to glory who has scrambled willow's lover's (tara)brain. she enters and says "i owe you pain". got me thinking...how many fuckheads out there to whom "i owe pain". got a message from an old boyfriend. one i haven't spoken to or seen in about 13 years. it's always amazing to me how these assholes seem to get caught up in reconnecting but conveniently forget all of the pain and heartache they cause. and in the initial message, i never really read an "i'm sorry" or "i fucked up", just "i'll understand if you don't want to connect again...
yes fuckhead. you SHOULD understand when i blow you off and block you from any contact. because you caused a lot of pain and depression. and at the very least you should admit you fucked up and hurt me for no damned good reason. oh and ps. i owe YOU pain.

in other news, the new job is going well. love the way it is run and love the docs.
it is now 3:55am. at least i don't have to get up early to move my car by 8:30am. alternate parking sucks.
