found out yesterday that my oldest sis "Sister M. Theresa" (a carmelite) is going to Rome next week. don't know how to feel about that. on the one hand, i fear for her safety, and on the other, she's spiritually ready should the unthinkable happen. go M, go...i know you've wanted to go for a long time...
pet a few cats over there for me, eat a great Italian dinner too! :-)
was going to try to go home for memorial day weekend because they are having a special service at the veteran's cemetary. but it doesn't look like i'll be able to. i'll get home the end of june hopefully, but i really miss Mom...
very slow here now. only students studying for the boards in June.
kind of sad to see them go...but there will always be new students to replace the graduates, bring their young and totally bewildered faces into the library unable to remember titles of books, relying on telling us what color book it is, etc, etc, etc...i'm getting good at knowing what they want...
will take the long weekend to hand write a few letters. and maybe do some drawing...
"life is real, life is earnest"
d's mom...
