dreams...

it's been a little rough these past few days but i can see the light at the end of the tunnel. life goes on. so it goes...

kitty is doing better. i can see improvements in her condition, (outwardly) not microscopically or chemically. she'll be due for a complete blood work-up and a physical exam. she's lost an amazing amount of weight, but her appetite has improved 100%. she's back to eating like a little piggy, thank God. she isn't so wobbly or dull in mentation. i can see the little lightbulb behind her eyes turned on. hopefully, i get to have her around for a long while.

i'm feeling a tad better, but not 100% yet. i'll get over this soon, just need more sleep, more fluids, and less stress.

had yet another dream about a long lost ex of mine. will this man ever be out of my heart and mind? i miss him but damn it, Powers that be!, he's married with children...please let this man's essence go away.

i will admit, i miss being in a relationship (while i really haven't been in normal one since, dare i say, ever?!) however, i don't miss all of the shit that comes along with it. can i just concentrate on normal? yes. normal. i want a normal boring relationshp. keep intense, keep profound. i want normal and less than perfect. okay. when and if i'm ever be ready to open my heart...that's what i'm shooting for.

it's saturday. it feels like summer is back. shorts and a tank top. walking around in a cold-like daze lost in unforgettable fire, a promenade kind of day...where his ghost is always waiting...always haunting my dreams.

It’s nice that summer is lingering preternaturally long this year. Cats everywhere have nice warm sunspots to bask in long past any expectation of such luxury.

Take it from me, ghosts of ex's don't ever vanish. Something about relationships gives specters a little niche in your brain which eviction notices never seem to reach. Just don't dust too many cobwebs off, and don't feed them.

Hey! A Trifecta! I haven't pulled that stunt in a while!
