catching up on some political commentary and it's getting sickening. i'm tired of reading the words "get over it" (aimed at those who didn't vote for the current president) or "we're in a time of war, let's all support the president"... stuff it already.
1. this "America has spoken" bullcrap that is rammed down our throats...hey, half of America didn't vote for the current president... remember???!
2. bush decisions have divided this country. when he owns that (as Dr. Phil would put it) then we can talk.
3. bush and the religious right have ruined my personal relationship with God.
4. does this mean that the coastal states and northeastern states are sole consumers of all that is immoral? (porn, pop & rock, materialism, and various editions of Catcher in the Rye and Harry Potter?)
5. i may just move... to a country off the coast of England...you know, that country called NY.
;-P
(i had to use that, i read that somewhere and it was just too good not to lift)
6. the dopes who voted republican need to recognize the hypocrisy of it all. because they're reminding me of the very dopes who accuse me of writing diary entries that are boring etc, etc, but still come to read it anyway. the type of people that have to actually state out loud that they are not racist...that they have Black and Hispanic friends.

enough politics. i will say this though, i am worried. moreso than i've ever been in past years, although, the commencement of bombing (Gulf War)had me pretty much worried too...

watched Matrix Reloaded and for the life of me, i had no clue what was going on...didn't watch The Madness of King George, but i love it just for the title.
;-P
reading a Dan Brown novel...Digital Fortress, it's slow going but, i've now got some free time so perhaps i can get rolling...
still waiting on a drink invitation. i could use a beer...
hope we get lots of snow. i'm looking forward to some winter running.
ciao!
ps. i've got eggplant parmagiana for lunch...made by Italian New Yorker hands.
