-the one-eyed lion sitting in a kabul zoo
-ate a man dumb enough to enter an extremely hungry & ill fed lion's cage
-lost his eye when the idiot's brother threw a hand grenade at him in revenge

close the zoo, euthanize the animals. let them have some damned peace.

now there's a country i wouldn't want to live in.

is it any wonder i always root for the: T-Rex, great white, killer whale, king kong, godzilla, anaconda...

    That's the first I heard the whole story on that. I'd heard about the one eyed lion and the grenade thrower, but not that the lion had killed a man, nor that the grenade was thrown in "revenge".

    well, i read the story at abcnews.com
    the man was showing off for a friend and got eaten, duh!
    i love animals salamander. but i'd rather see them euthanized then live in rotten conditions and abused.

    let me know when the salamander train is leaving...

    i once read that when someone says an animal is ferocious, they mean that it will defend itself if attacked.
