pain in the ass butt...

telemarketers have a lovely way of getting me all wriled up usually. now i'm just a wise-ass. okay, so the calling card doesn't get billed by my wonderful long distance carrier. it get's billed by a company chosen by verizon. who sets the rates? as of right now, i still don't know because usbi said it was verizon and verizon said it was usbi... i was pissed off, but now i'm amused that questions to verizon customer service such as: "does verizon get a cut from these outrageous rates from usbi? " leaves them dumbfounded.
or how come verizon issues calling cards, knowing full well most will be used for long distance calls with outrageous rates? claim they want to be your "total" carrier (the long and short of it) for all of your needs, EXCEPT for when it comes to the calling card... me: "well if you don't cover the calling card, then you can't tote yourself as being at my "complete" service can you?!" again, dumbfounded silence over the phone... And, how come in your terms and conditions it says that the rates for the calling card are lower than or comparable to verizon rates? when they obviously are not? silence once more...

franny disputed it. franny worked at frontier corp..with all the auditors and learned something while she was busy opening their mail...

"even though people can get under my skin, eventually they slough off with the dead cells..." I absolutely adore your imagery.

Pardon the vernacular, but screw Virgizon and get one of those one cent per minute calling cards that they sell in all the 7-11's and other convenience stores. Even with the 50 cent connection charge (or whatever it is up front) they end up being a better deal than anything else I've used, and I've used a lot of different cards. They should help cut way back on any out-of-state calls you need to make. I know I save bundles on calls to California that way.

If I don't catch you before, have a good Thanksgiving, Franny. I'm off to call the vet hospital about KfH now....

Be sure to frame that license. I waited, it rained, and my license was among the targets of the water. Should have recognized, it was a sign of things to come. :) verizon has a class action suit against it. I was among those pilfered. Happy Thanksgiving!
