i wanted the stars tonight, but it was overcast. the sky was full of chemicals exploding and waiting for the crowds affection. i toasted the powers that be wine glass in hand and songs whispering in my ear. i wanted to go flying, but instead, i'm here...

stuck in a roller coaster that won't go.
in heat and humidity and stickiness.
thinking about you and him.

i'll want the rain today. or i'll go off to mexico...

    I missed out on the chemical smell this year and got my pseudo-stars vicariously on a television in a bar sipping a pseudo-daquiri while waiting until it was time for Shrek 2 to start.
