Crap. Forgot about Social Security; it was on my first list, but somehow got dropped when doing the rewrite. Another $10 to add to the list, since they want the certified marriage certificate too. Must remember to print S.S. forms when I get home. (I'm at yet another Starbucks, grabbing a quick ice coffee and working on name change forms in the only convenient place I can go that is cat-free.)

Oh well, enough of that. I'm off to check the cats at the shelter.

    The time and costs involved in passports never fail to shock me. I can't quite grasp why they are so darned expensive. It doesn't make any sense. It's just a little booklet fergawdsakes!

    RYC: our two local shelters (hs & county) advertise through PetFinder and I have a peek at least a couple of times a week. I keep threatening to get another cat but to tell the truth I'm still not over Sami Cat and she's been gone for almost 13 months *sigh*
