I agree with writes_stuff. I would be even more outraged if I didn't like Sarah MacLachlan and if they paid her. (Did I spell her name right?) I really have no idea if they do.

Speaking of spelling, I think you mean the Humane Society, not the Humans Society. ;o) Yeah, it's obvious; but I was confused at the beginning so I thought I'd give you the opportunity to edit it before someone else got here. :o)

I will make absolutely certain that any donations I make, or friends make, will go to our local canine or feline rescue organizations! Thanks for the info! (And for the record, every time I see that commercial with the pathetic looking animals and that damnable Sarah McLachlan song, I mute it and purposefully look away! I despise that bit of audio-visual mammalian horror show. It's like looking into an open, festering wound.)
