Popcorn *is* a vegetable, isn't it?
Tue Dec 16 2003

Things should be hectic the next few days. Work, as ever, is chewing my ass pretty hard at the moment. I'm starting a period of six-day work weeks, and I can't say I'm thrilled about it. We don't go back to five-day work weeks until January. Most of my department has the option of putting in token appearances on Saturdays, but that's not possible for me. If we're running, then I have to be around.

Wednesday and Thursday nights will be devoted to "Return of the King". The Socialist could not go see RotK Thursday night because of classes, so we have tickets to go Wednesday. Mr. MIS from work and his wife, Mrs. MIS, will be meeting us. I have barely enough time to get home from work, change, and get to the theater for the 7:40 showing.

The free tickets really shouldn't be wasted though, so I'm going again on Thursday, again with Mr. MIS. He's scrounged up two of his MIS geek friends and we'll be using the free tickets for the 7:40 showing Thursday night. Again, I'll have barely enough time to get home, change, and get to the theater. This week promises a steady diet of popcorn dinners, I fear.

I can't go see LOTR until Christmas Eve. Boohoo. I am jealous of you. I want to read your review ASAP.

Well, according to Ronald Reagan who proclaimed ketchup a veggie, popcorn must surly count!!

Have a handful for me, please?

Hmm, popCORN. Yep, definitely a veggie.
Chocolate is also a member of the meat family! It's made from beans, right?

I dont know about there, but they charge such outrageous prices for popcorn here at a movie, it is cheaper to go to Big Macs!!

I can't wait to see the movie! I'm probably going to the cinema in the weekend.
