Time Lapsed (Picture Intensive)
I've been taking pictures throughout the day. It makes me feel like I have some control over a situation that is quite out of control.
This was my deck at 2:00 pm.
My deck at 3:30pm.
My deck at 7:00. I stuck a yardstick in the snow. Right now, at 7:30, it reads 21.5 inches. The Prof says it's in a drift, but it's only a few feet from the door, and I think it's relatively protected. It's supposed to snow for five hours more or so yet.
A little bird feeder and bush by the parking area at 2:00 pm.
The same scene at 4:00 pm.
And again at 5:45 pm.
The grounds people just finished plowing and snowblowing us out. It's only a temporary fix, but it will do for now.
I'll post more pictures tomorrow.

The bright side is you don't have to get out in it to go to work

I am well and truly sick of snow. And it's probably going to stick around for weeks on the ground, thanks to low temperatures. ARGH.

Too bad you didn't get a picture of the treetop snapping off (did you?).
I of course have a different attitude toward snow. We're in for a bit of it tonight. I told my coworkers, "I love y'all, but I sure hope I don't see you tomorrow." :D

Welcome to my world. Ugh. And now we'll have to wait a month for it to all melt out.
