I had to take a skills test (heavy on math) without a calculator or scratch paper, but the math was so ridiculously easy that it didn't much matter. I need to get a drug test done at a local lab, and as soon as he gets the results it sounds like I'll be starting.
As we were finishing up the pharmacist leaned over and whispered to me that since I was already certified I'd be making a dollar an hour more than the non-certified techs to start. That means I'll be making a whopping $10/hour. I'll be working 15-22 hours per week. After trying so long and hard to get anything, I suppose I should be grateful, but it's still a bit of a slap in the face. I can but hope that I'll climb the corporate ladder quickly. Now that I have employment, other places may be more willing to look at my resume.
