Well, it appears that the anticipated face-to-face I was considering having with a few people over here regarding The Mouth's revelations is not likely to happen. When I left off yesterday, I mentioned that I was upset how everybody was telling everybody else about The Mouth's personal pursuits after-hours. It looked as though a great example of point-source release of gossip was happening right under my nose. Apparently, I misjudged.

Once word got around about what The Mouth had told the evening tech, others who had also gotten this one-on-one revelation from The Mouth started coming forward. This was obviously a one-time slip of the lips by the Mouth. She seems to have told at least a dozen other people, all of who elected to keep their mouths closed and keep the information to themselves. Here I thought I was going to have to chide people about passing this tale on and on and on, when it turns out that The Mouth has been doing this on her own. It would seem that she wants people to know about this (though I deeply suspect her motivations, considering some of the people she's told about her pastime pursuits).

It would appear that people are not running around the building spreading gossip about the Mouth. She's done it all on her own.

The Big Boss is out today. If he is going to talk to her about this, it won't be until Tuesday.

    The reason that European cars tend to be more economical is that they don't have catalytic converters, which are required by law here to keep down emissions. It's one of those six of one, half a dozen of another kind of things.

    I'm all for bicycle use, and if I could ever figure how to carry my dog on my bike to take her to the vet I'd be right there!

    I wonder if they make a bike trailer that would fit a Dane?

    Petrol has gone up here to $1.09/L in many places and this weekend in one service station it hit $1.16 /L . A lot of people in my part of the suburbs, drive big heavy tank type cars, and I wonder what they must pay!!!

    Think I will stick to my bus and train trips. The service is pretty good, and I expect I am saving a heap compared to if I bought a cheap (and I mean cheap) bomb that would likely be a fuel eater.

    I know you are right about the cortisone but it is the only thing that seems to nip everything in the bud. All the other drugs potentially interact with the Lexapro that I take, too *rolls eyes*. I just can't seem to win for losing on the allergy front. As I am sure you can sympathise, by the time I take all my regular meds (lexapro, propanolol 4 times a day [can't take the once a day sustained release, oh no, that kicks the wheezing in full force],xanax to get rid of the shakes brought on by the lexapro, HRT) you heap on 2 or 3 more and it just gets to be too much. I think you and I could be a walking pharmacy.

I couldn't move, couldn't even blink my eyes. Hell, I couldn't even scream. I still have nightmares about that.'
    Thubten's response: That was horrid!!!! Did you 'track' those responsible for your nightmare? I wouldn't - but I'd sure as hell think about 'following up'

    Catalytic converters have been required for cars in the European Union since 1993.

    Please tell The Socialist that I apologize. I must have been misinformed on the catalytic converter issue. That was the explanation that I got from an Irish mechanic when I asked. Teach me not to do better research.
