Anybody want to take any guesses as to what happened to it? I'm just praying she's left it some place where I have a chance of finding it before we move out of the apartment.
Tonight I take the Clueless Wonder to the real vet's for his one year follow-up visit for his heart condition. He still has a whopping murmur, but his weight is down, his activity level is good, and he's still tolerating the Atenolol well. I'm hoping I don't have to take him downtown for a full cardiac work-up, but I'll go with whatever his vet says to do. The cheapest part of getting a cat is definitely the cat, though.
The ex sent me an email last night asking how to treat a guinea fowl that was mauled by one of the Jack Russel Terrorists at the barn where he keeps his horses. This happened Saturday, and he's asking me for advice three days later? He says the owner of the farm doesn't want to take it to the vets, even though the ex offered to pay. My reply simply told him of the warning signs to look out for, and strongly advised that if they wanted that poor bird to live to get it to the vets. Sometimes I swear I don't know where people's heads are at.
