I told him firmly twice not to do anything about it, making the point that this was just a residual problem that hadn't been caught during last week's scheduling shake-up and that I doubted it would happen again.

Yeah, well ... I'm a moron. Of course it happened again. The schedule had New Tech working when she had class - she called me to ask if I'd switch with her while I was driving to work.

When I got to work, Senior Tech wanted to switch a shift with me. Apparently she was scheduled for a time she traditionally did not work. Of course I said yes.

Color me an idiot.
