The weather forecasters called for rain beginning overnight, turning to snow mid-afternoon. At 7:30 this morning it was raining. At 9:00 this morning it was snowing. *sigh* I suppose it was mid-afternoon in Europe, anyhow.

Out my front window, am and pm. The forecasters said that the snow wouldn't stick to roadway surfaces. They lied.
It's a good thing I got new tires for the little Prius yesterday. I'd like to claim it was foresight, but if pressed I'd have to admit that it was just lucky timing.
