The Prof and I went shopping last night as well. He's decided he wants to learn to cook (I wonder what brought that on), and he's decided more specifically that he wants to learn to cook Indian food. That's fine by me. He's been doing quite a bit of reading, though he hasn't found a cookbook to his liking yet. He tells me he wants one with lots of pictures, so that he knows what the final product is supposed to look like. I've tried to explain to him that the best cookbooks don't include pictures, but instead have lots of detailed instructions, but he is insistent, and this is his show. He purchased a food processor last night to help him with his intended endeavors. I really hope this works out, but I wish he'd picked something easier to start with. He frustrates easily, and Indian cuisine demands long cooking times and a lot of attention to detail. I have my worries....
I also came home last night to no Professor and piles of unwashed dishes. Turns out he was out shopping for ingredients he'll need for Indian cooking. While he was gone, I put away all the dishes in the rack, and washed all the dirty dishes from Sunday night's meal. He never even noticed I'd done them. I'm not sure if I'm relieved or pissed. I said nothing though, and will continue to say nothing. At least I got my way.
Crap, I wish this dentist visit was over with.
OK, what is trek13.sv.av.com and why would I have 94 hits from it in the past 24 hours? More to the point, why is it showing up on my DD counter but not my Site Meter? Inquiring minds want to know.
