WP came through surgery fine yesterday. There were some problems with her blood pressure (nothing really unusual for any animal/person under anesthesia) but no serious complications. We didn't visit her last night - didn't want to stress her too soon after her surgery. There's a chance we'll be able to pick her up this evening.
I had a "function" to attend - the local Pharmacists Association chapter is trying to reform, and they want to include techs as well, so I showed up for the free drinks and dinner. I'm not sure if this group is going to be worth my time or not, since the emphasis seems to be on pharmacists. As it turned out, I got there late because it started the same time I get out of work, so I missed the buffet (though I did snag a glass of Riesling at the end). We'll see where it goes.
The Prof goes to Left Coast for a week starting next week, so I'll be doing cat duty at home. With WP in convalescence, I don't see me planning any big outings.
