Things that I got for Christmas that I might be able to regift:
●4 Gorham âFestive Hollyâ votives
●Lenox âJust Jinglesâ tree ornament (which I note with amusement has âAmerican by Designâ printed on the box but âMade in Chinaâ printed on the sticker underneath the box)
●Red French Style Beret
Things I got for Christmas that I have to keep because it will be expected that I actually be seen using them:
●One leather backpack style purse purchased in Italy
●Tea Pot with Far Eastern calligraphy printed on it and a bamboo handle with matching cups with no handles
Things I got for Chrismas that I canât believe someone who knew me as a child would ever think Iâd want, much less have fond memories of:
●Tin of Les Anis de Flavigny Violette flavored candy drops (As a five-year-old I once held one in the side of my mouth for nearly an hour, too polite to spit it out in front of the old ladies who gave me one as a treat and too revulsed to actually swallow it. It was like taking a mouthful of purfume.)
Things I got for Christmas that you will have to pry out of my rigor-mortis frozen hands to get away from me
●Fish Hat (OK, technically not a Christmas gift, but it was a gift that arrived right before Christmas so Iâm counting it)
●A new Garmin GPS unit for my car to replace the Cobra GPS that is in its final death spasms
●Several checks that when pooled together almost cover my next yearâs AVMA membership (Actually, those are all already cashed. The gift-givers couldn't retrieve those if they wanted to.)
