The Socialist and I had a talk last night. Evidently I'm always Gloomy Gus anymore, which makes it hard for him to hang around me. He says I never smile, and I seldom see the bright side of things. I wanted to argue with him that it wasn't true, that I spent a good part of my day upday and positive. I spend most of my days playing "Mary Sunshine" at work. I guess I felt that I could come home and be more myself but I hadn't realized how unfair that was to him. He gets the worst of the tired and the "down" and not much of the happy "up" periods. I'll have to work on changing that, so I'm easier to live with.

My Morning Glory vines are sprouting! I didn't scarify the seeds because I wanted to delay their germination, but so the perverse little things sprouted nearly a week earlier anyhow! I'm keeping my fingers crossed we don't get ourselves any more hard frosts, or I'll lose them and have to start over. Why they heck did they have to be in such a rush? I noticed that none of the Moon Flowers have sprouted yet though, so I needed worry about them. Yet.

Checked my schedule for Monday and Tuesday and got a bit of a shock. My next tap is scheduled for Monday, 5/5. The MRI was scheduled for Tudsday, but the card they gave me say "Tuesday, 5/5/". Anybody else see the problem here? Fortunately when I called the MRI center it turns out they simply wrote the wrong date on the card; the appointment is indeed for Tuesday. At lease something went right!

This weekend I have nothing planned. I'm looking forward to it.
