Runny nose, painful sinuses, chills, current temp 100.8° F.

I stayed home from work, but I have my first writing class tonight, and I don't want to miss that. Damn. I've got a nasty feeling that I've now used up too many of my days off to be able to go to California in August.

    Does your company let you take unpaid days if you've used up paid days?

    Your sick days take away your other days off? Here it works so that if you have a note from the doctor for your sick days, it doesn't affect your normal free days. Surely you still get paid if you're sick? Here I think they pay you something when you're sick, probably not the full salary but some of it.
