Today is the eighth anniversary of the day I received the most comments ever on DD. It's ironic, since it is also the shortest entry I ever made. Sometimes life is like that. The site has changed, people have moved on, but regardless of where everybody is now, my thanks remains.

    Oh, that just sent shivers down my spine. I remember that day very well (although oddly enough I don't seem to have commented! I must have been following the news elsewhere), and how good the Professor was about letting us all know how things were going.

    Eight years. What a gift it's been.

    Time is a funny thing. In some ways it seems like it was yesterday and in others a lifetime ago. Glad you're still kicking ;)

    wow. it went fast. i didn't comment either it seems. i did visit though, with Slipperman. remember that like it was yesterday. continued good health to you.

    I remember when I found out. It was late at night and we had just come home from someplace. Kendall had just gone to bed and I fired up my old computer. When I read the news I whooped and yelled so loudly that Kendall got up to see what the matter was. We hugged and did a happy dance in front of the fridge. Definitely one of my best DD memories! And what a great friend you've become in the years since! I'm getting goosebumps all over again.
