What you are missing, 404, is that I never said I was suing. The store indicated that their insurance company would take care of it. I submitted two claims and a form to their representatives, who might have been insurance brokers or lawyers, it was never clear. I got a letter back saying that they've determined it wasn't their responsibility, and they ain't paying. OK, maybe they didn't phrase it quite like that, but my last entry was too long so I'm summarizing.
If I don't have the thousand bucks to fix my car, I sure don't have money to hire a lawyer and attempt to sue them. Even if I chose to go that route, it doesn't guarantee that they'll pay, and I can't afford to sue and lose.
At this point I cut my losses and bad mouth them whenever possible. If I can't make it worth their while one way, I can at least make sure that they lose more than if they'd made good on their original assurances.
