I'll have to go straight to the dentist from here, and then straight to class from the dentist. This has me somewhat dismayed, since I've managed to make quite a mess of myself at work today. I'm afraid the dental technician is just going to have to put up with the smell, though. I'll sit in the back of the room in class and hope nobody notices.
Tomorrow night is a meeting down town for the donor awareness organizations' volunteers. They hold it the third Wednesday of each month. I keep saying I'm going to go, and somehow never do. My intent is to make it down there tomorrow, but we'll see how burnt out I am by then.
Dekyi is continuing to do well, and I'm continuing to have conniptions about finding a home for her. I had it in the back of my head that someone would have succumbed to her charms by today, but it isn't happening. She's going to end up a shelter kitty, I guess. There are worse fates, but I'd have liked to see her safely placed. She loves being handled, she's using her litter box appropriately, and she's gained a quarter of a pound since her admission, making her cuter than ever. I'm just going to have to keep plugging away and hope for the best.
