One nice thing about their visit is that The Professor and I will be able to crash a crafts show that is really intended for retailers only. Aunt and Uncle are artists, both currently working in clay. They make things that "upper crust" shops like to sell. They'll be vending their wares at a convention for crafters being held downtown next weekend. They've sent The Professor and I passes that indicate we are their "assistants". We'll be able to cruise the stands and if I see something good I might even be able to get it for a discount price. Last year I had to do the show on cruches (I'd ruptured a tendon in my "good" leg) and wasn't able to enjoy it much. I'm looking forward to it this time around.
The gastro-enterologist left a message on my answering machine at home yesterday afternoon while I was at work. I have no idea why he didn't call at work, since he has that number as well. Anyhow, he claimed he was going to be in his office until 6:00, but when I got home and called at 5:30 he was already gone. I've made arrangements for him to call me at work Friday morning. I'm assuming there aren't any important findings from the biopsies, or he'd be in a bigger rush to get hold of me.
I've had a magnetic poetry set (actually, several of them) in my office for years, but haven't played with it for months. Today I fiddled with it for a bit while stuck on the phone.
