OK. I have four free tickets to tonight's 7:40 Return of the King. That's free. "Free" as in "I didn't have to pay for them, you don't have to pay for them, you save $8.50 on three and a half hours worth of entertainment."
Everyone going with me tonight has backed out. I have four free tickets and can't give them away. I could go by myself, I suppose, but that's still a waste of three tickets.
