Well, I thought about my little experience with Mr. I'll-promise-to-ship-in-ten-days-or-less-but-won't-really-ship-for-a-month. To be honest, I did get my package, I did get a response to my email even if said response was a bit loopy, and I did get the merchandise at a very reasonable price. So what doI want to give the guy negative feedback for? Because he was late shipping? I know that's my stated reason. But let's be honest: I wanted to give the guy negative feedback because I didn't like the tone of his email response to me when I asked why my merchandise hadn't arrived after twenty days of waiting.
I got what I paid for. And I should be used to people who live on the edge of La-La land in cyberspace by now. So I left this comment under positive feedback:
Arrived *very* late, well packed. Buy here if time is not a constraint.
I figured he could like it or lump it, but that was the best I was prepared to give him.
He gave me feedback this morning:
SUPER FAST PAYER!!! MONEY CAME FLYING IN THE DOOR SO FAST, I HAD TO DUCK!!! :-)
Which is true - I paid for the item within fifteen minutes of winning it. I get the feeling that he just saw he'd gotten a positive comment from me and didn't bother reading it. He must have handled my email the same way - he just assumed it was another complaint and responded without reading what I'd written to him.
I figure that anyone who bothers to read between the lines will have a clue as to what "buy here if time is not a constraint" means.
