Things I've learned in the past week:

- Cat don't like getting pins poked into their ears
- Cat ears bruise pretty easily
- Cat ears only bleed about 25% of the time after being poked
- A cat that has endured a full week of ear-poking without even once thinking about biting the hand that pokes it is the best cat in the whole world, and deserves to steal a bag of Pounce, even if I could only let her have a few treats because too many would throw her blood sugar off
