When England Banned Christmas

This is in reference to comments to my last rambling update. I'm too lazy to write the term paper. The details are here (it will open in a new window).

It's hard to believe that the Pilgrims were extremists in this religious climate, and left to form an even more strict church.

    Thank you so much for sharing the story about Christmas in England being banned and then restored again when Charles II was reinstated. I was a very good read and a wonderful historical point I will remember for a very long time.

    How are you feeling today? I always worry when you come down with some kind of infection. Is it still as dangerous as it was? Are you still on immunodepressants? :o(

    That was an interesting and highly informative essay. Thanks for the link because I never would have found it on my own.

    I, too, have been wondering about your health. I really hope that minor illnesses aren't as dangerous to you as they once were.
