sigh The Grey Menace just came upstairs to check on me, and dropped a packet of salt at my feet. She's already forced me into a corner over The Socialist's favorite eraser, one that he's had for years and had planned on having many more. It disappeared from his desk, and he's convinced he knows who took it. Sad thing is, she probably did. I paid him the stated value of the eraser: $1.06 (PA has a six percent sales tax).

Wait till he finds out she's now stealing the salt that he stole from Wendy's.

I have absolutely no idea if this would work or not in regard to your pictures but I recently bought a data card reader that I simply put my card in and plug into a USB port. It loads the pictures then I can access them through my other software to do what I want with them. I am just wondering if a card reader might allow you to access your older pictures. For $20.00 (you could probably get one cheaper on eBay) it could be worth a shot. If nothing else, it is an easy way to transport your pictures for uploading onto other computers

Been there, done that. I purchased a wonderful and inexpensive card reader when I got my camera. It seemed a really nifty idea. Brought it home, tried to download the software for it and BAM! it crashed my computer. The Socialist liked his new card reader with its new, only downloaded once software very much though, thank-you.

Ok, try this. Tell your nasty co-worker that there appears to be something slightly amiss with the flushing mechanism in the ladies room and that it would be a good idea to stand there and make sure everything goes down. That way, you aren't accusing her of anything but you are subtly letting her know that when she is done, the bowl had better be empty.

I am SOOO there. I'll just stick a nice, polite sign up over the crapper tomorrow. With luck, that will be the end of it. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm tired. I'm going to bed and try to get another eight hours sleep.

I wonder if I'm coming down with something.

    I've driven under those types of tired conditions more times than I can count. I've gotten really good at driving with all the windows rolled down and the radio cranked up all the way!

    I do the same thing allimom does except I also drink ice water. It's amazing how awake I can stay when I have to pee.

    Speaking as a massage therapist, cervically unstable, and previous sufferer of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, I can reassure you that these doctors are just having a difference of opinion. As a doctor yourself, I'm sure you've already taken all their advice with a grain of salt anyway. The chances are low of either being entirely right or wrong.

    Your signs can indicate a lot of things, as simple as a stiff neck from sleeping, an enlarged lymph node in your armpit, bulge pressure at C3 (which you mentioned), or bad posture. It can be just as easily compromised soft-tissue as a disk bulge or neurological deficit.

    Going for the 4D overview rather than merely a medical (i.e. descriptive, but perhaps not terribly useful) diagnosis can only help. Consult your PT for another educated opinion of what's going on in the brachial plexus and cervical areas. I've gotten similar symptoms with an overtight omohyoid, completely relieved by releasing that muscle alone.

    Hope you feel better soon, in all sorts of ways! BTW, if you watch TV, check out Wonderfalls. I think you'd enjoy it. I told DoubtAndCharacter I thought the writer's voice was very much like yours...not the main character per se, but the screenwriter...
