This week Poindexter officially got a new home (after a two week trial). He was adopted by a young couple with no other cats. Knowing he found an appropriate placement was a huge relief. 
Two days ago I went to PetSmart just to look at the cats. I've been hoping to find a young adult that would keep the Professor's young and boisterous cat company. I walked out with "Fluffy", now renamed "Morgen" (German for "morning"). She should keep Evening good company, once she grows into the role.
