My donor would have been seventeen. This is the year he'd have gone to the prom. This is the year he'd have graduated high school. This is the year that adulthood would start knocking on the door.

My thoughts are with his family this day.

By coincidence, this is also the 30th anniversary of the release of "Star Wars" (back before it mysteriously transmogrified into "A New Hope").

I'm sure that there's signficance in there somewhere.

    One of my best friends recently got the eye of a 16 year old girl. In her honor she tries to see things differently, through the eyes of a teen girl not that of a sometimes judgemental adult. I hope your using whatever organ you got to the fullest!
