Warrior Princess is healing well from the surgery, but late last night The Prof noticed signs of erosion on her left eye. I scheduled a follow-up visit for this afternoon. Out with some of the old meds, in with a new one, and another visit scheduled Monday.

I will not let this poor cat lose her remaining eye.

    Oh, I'm so sorry! I will keep the WP in my thoughts and wish her a speedy and complete recovery.

    Poor girl. Chance has adapted remarkably well to losing his sight but he's a whole lot younger than she is and didn't have to endure the trauma of surgery. It's so hard to watch our friends decline but I think it would have been harder to have never had them in our lives. I feel sorry for people who only think of them, if they think of them at all, as "just" a cat/dog. Those people are missing out on so very much.
