The Waiting is Over.
Sat Jan 10 2004

The tests came back negative. The bullet has been dodged.

I'm hoping that this episode has taught a few people that the gun really is loaded. I'm really hoping this little situation will convince a few people around here to stop buying the bullets.

The gun's always going to be pointed to our heads. It's the nature of the business. But if we don't provide the ammunition, then it doesn't matter where the gun is pointing.

I'm glad the bullet, whatever it was, has been dodged. I hope proper preparations will be made henceforth.

Hopefully this will also convince people to listen to you when you voice concerns of various situations, and not just have them consider you an alarmist.
If your workplace is like the one I had about 15 years ago though, it won't. People can be fundamentally stupid sometimes.

Phew! That sounds like it was close...I hope the *powers* do the right thing now! and that you can go back home to bed and warm up. If I could send you some of this hot weather I would!

You know, that's how I felt when I was teaching bloodborne pathogens. Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it won't.
    Glad everything was okay. WHEW!
