I completely missed the 45th anniversary of the premier of original Trek last week. For others who care, this is a great little article:For Trekâs 45th Birthday: 10 Underappreciated Aspects of Classic Star Trek

A great list. I'm passing it on to BassPlayer. - From:Franny (Legacy)On:Thu Sep 15 2011this is the show that turned me onto sci-fi fantasy. i think i'm the only one in my family to have watched it. i used to make my sister laugh when i'd "sing" the closing theme. great article...have to watch "a taste of armageddon" now...
- From:404Error (Legacy)On:Wed Nov 02 2011What a lovely walk down memory lane! Thank you! I was lucky, my Mom loved TOS, so I got to watch them all as a kid. One of my boyfriend "tests" has always been whether or not they enjoyed TOS. If they hadn't ever watched, I'd turn it on and watch him watching the show. A bad reaction to the show, Shatner bad acting criticisms aside, meant that relationship was a no-go.
