It was a good vacation. It was a necessary vacation. Maybe I'll get around to getting a few shots posted to the diary. I got some great close ups, including some of a very cooperative scorpion, a rather ugly looking tarantula, and a baby sidewinder that coiled himself up into a little disc the size of a half dollar.
I've reactivated my notifies ... I learned after my last vacation that I'd better turn them off or I'd fill my in bin in a matter of days. I'll do my best to catch up this week. We'll see how far I get.
Liver's good, neck could be better, one of the cats got diarrhea while I was gone and I can't figure out which of the three is the victim, and the sunflowers peaked in my absense and are now busy ripening a shitload of seed. I think I'll leave the heads uncovered for the birds to feast on. The cats will enjoy watching through the kitchen window.
