I got a call from Liver Transplant this morning. They are stepping the steroids back from 15 mg per day to 10 mg. (This warrants a âyippeeâ; I loathe what those stinking things do to me, from having to shave areas of my body that no woman should ever have to shave to the mood swings that have me ready to crush small cats and Professors at times). They are taking me off of the tacrolimus completely (one of the three immunosuppression drugs Iâm on in addition to the steroids). I may actually be able to get my daily pills into my pill case without having to carefully arrange them as if they were some arcane type of 3-D IQ puzzle.
Finally, it's been a while since I've posted a picture of any of the kittles. This was taken Saturday morning, when the tulips were still intact and the sun hadn't yet been washed out of the sky. I played at PhotoShopping it into a black and white print, which doesn't look too bad, but still doesn't compete with the color version.

(And I totally get the pill dispenser Tetris thing.)
M-i-l has been on very large doses of steroids that have fairly recently been reduced, and the improvement has been remarkable. They're live-savers, but at a heavy cost.
Beautiful cat and beautiful tulip.
Life depends on the liver, as the old saying goes.
Glad to hear you're getting less medicated.
